Who We Are

  • Our Story

Founded in 1997 in Beirut, Lebanon, Najmeddine Group for Engineering & Contracting (NAGECO) was born out of a desire to combine skill, vision and experience to shape our city’s skyline and create memorable projects.

We have always taken great pride in our culture, undertaking projects and construction works that preserve and celebrate our heritage. Over the course of the years, we have amassed experience in contracting and engineering, executing turnkey projects and leaving our mark on the real estate scene. Additionally, we have completed restoration and maintenance projects that preserve the essence of our city and its heritage while adding modernity and longevity to its buildings.

As well as being a member of the Contractors’ Syndicate of Lebanon, we are labeled as a Class One firm by the Lebanese Authorities’ charts. 

From our administrative staff to our senior engineers and skilled workers, our team operates as a unit with a shared work ethic and vision to bring our ideas to life.

We look forward to further contributing to the landscape of our country and the region and leaving our footprint on the sector.

Born in 1967 in Lebanon, Ahmad Helmi Najmeddine is the Founder and CEO of Najmeddine Group for Engineering & Contracting (NAGECO).

Ahmad’s fascination with construction and the natural infrastructure and wealth of the earth led him to major in Civil Engineering at the American University of Beirut, and later in Engineering Management at the same university.

Ahmad’s career started at Khatib & Alami where he worked as a Civil Engineer for over 7 years, amassing experience and knowhow to launch his own contracting firm. 

In 1997, he took further steps to turn his vision into a reality and founded NAGECO, a contracting and engineering firm born from years of hard work and a passion for construction.

Ahmad’s reputation precedes him. He has built his company on the same pillars of honesty, integrity and hard work that he values, acquiring landmark projects in construction, infrastructure, structural repairs and geotechnical fields across the whole of Lebanon. Ahmad’s line of work has taken him from the educational and healthcare sectors to residential and commercial projects. 

Additionally, he served as a member of the Order of Engineers and Architects from 2013 to 2016, highly contributing to the creation of a better work environment for himself and his peers.
